Dear Friends,
As you are aware, we have been contemplating a shift in what we do here at SoL Criations. Many of you have been asking what we are up to! As we move forward in our lives and our personal evolution, the vision of our SoL changes and grows. Over the years, as the animals have come into our lives we have learned so much. The animals and nature have been our greatest teachers and our hearts and minds have made a complete metamorphosis. Because of our love for animals and the Earth, we have decided to transform SoL Criations into a Farm Sanctuary.
We are still developing our vision:
In an effort to do the best we can in our limited space and time. It is our vision to inspire others, to make connections and to open hearts and minds by advocating for kindness and compassion, educating and empowering people by offering a different perspective. Sharing an urgent and vital understanding of our culture and our food based on the truth of interconnectedness of all life. To look differently at all the animals we share our planet with and recognize the value of each individual life. Widening circles of compassion to include the Earth, all animals and to treat all life with the deepest kindness and respect.
We plan to offer sanctuary to the animals who find their way here, the humans who live here and visit, the wildlife who call this home and the Earth who gently supports us all. We aspire to create a biodynamic space and peaceable kingdom where the animals are all given completely free and natural access to the woods, pastures and pond. To share our knowledge and our vision to educate others to reawaken our innate compassion and make connections. To open hearts and minds to see what is possible and what we can all do to make the world a better place for the animals, the Earth and ourselves.
We wish to expand and create better homes and pastures and to open our space to animals who find their way to us within keeping the balance of what our space and we can support. We plan to offer more visits for a chance for others to connect with and learn from the animals, nature and the Earth. We plan to create more wheelchair accessible paths and build a Woodland Center; a building for classes, retreats, classroom visits, art, quiet contemplation, creating, etc. We hope to host seasonal celebrations and plant-based community meals. And, to offer connection and sanctuary to all who visit.
We have updated our website and would love to have you visit at:

Due to recent changes in the alpaca fiber industry, we no longer feel comfortable combining the fiber from our alpacas and goats with other farms through the co-ops. However, the fiber producing animals still need to be sheared for their well-being, so we plan to create our own circle of compassionate fiber artists to use our fiber to directly support our sanctuary. We are looking into becoming a non-profit but for now, we would truly like to offer all of this in the spirit of gift; our gift to you, the animals and those who visit. We would like to accept gifts in return to support our SoL, the animals, visits and events. If you feel inspired to support us with your gift, please visit here:

or we have set up a YouCaring crowd funding site to jump start our mission at:

and please if you will, share this widely so those who may be interested can be part of our SoL! Thank you for your support!
With Gratitude,
